mc...
this is the first time i'm on mc ever since i started working. it feels strange to be able to sleep in and be at home when u know everyone else is working their butts off.
actually, there's still plenty of work to be done even though one is on mc. but then again, the flesh is weak, so here i am instead...
it's strange how... foolish/ignorant/confident people can be when it comes to being face to face with mother nature. i mean, who in the right mind would climb into the crater of an active volcano??? eh, hello? there's like molten lava down below, you know?
this incident reminds me of the true stories i read in one of my favourite books: Death at Grand Canyon. There are people who think bad things only happen to other people and actually climb over the guardrails and fall hundreds of feet. Some are even fortunate enough to survive these once-in-a-lifetime falls.

a summary
many things have happened since i last updated.
1. a friend flew to australia before i realised it.
2. another friend is flying off to france.
3. the art teacher at the jc i was studying at passed away.
4. another friend's grandfather has also passed on.
5. a couple at my workplace has broken up and gotten back together.
6. i had fever, body ache and a slight headache on sat but have since recovered, thankfully.
7. i'm still playing pangya like a kiddo.
8. i've been to the ktv at least 3 times with the same colleagues within a short period of time.
9. i've been deprived of meeting up with old friends.
10. i've been deployed to teach sec 2 NT maths.
