the happy and the sad...
it's strange how sometimes you don't meet your friends for ages, then some happy event comes along, or some sad thing occurs, then you meet up with people you haven't met up with in a long while.
a good friend of mine whose mother passed away recently somehow looked like he had grown up quickly. he said he looks haggard, and to some extent i think that is true... things must have taken a toil on him, and i'm ashamed to say i haven't been more aware of it.
so many things are going to happen. heard from my beloved that a friend of ours is going to have his ROM in sep and his customary one year later. another couple we know are having their housewarming in aug. and my beloved is flying to a far away place and won't be back for at least 6 months.
how will i survive? work shall consume me.

Flash MX!
just had a 3-day course where i learnt the basics of flash. it's a very interesting program and i wouldn't mind learning more about it. too bad the course is only 3 days... very fun to see something evolve from bits and pieces into a final production. ha! after everything is done correctly, the whole thing actually looks cool!! :P yea.

Fiesta de Costa!
went to east coast park with a few of my frens yesterday. had a picnic!! yum... the homemade sandwiches and pizza were yummy. *slurp!* haha... hadn't enjoyed myself so much in a long while. Taboo was a fun game! frisbee too!! but all that running and picking up the frisbee has my body aching all over today... :P
we were really lucky that the weather yesterday was beautiful. it rained just before we had our picnic. but the sky cleared up after that and the day was relatively cool. still, i had a tan from yesterday. hmm.
TC said maybe we could meet up again the end of the month to have a nature walk at bukit timah hill. sounds fun! but guess my body would fall apart the next day as usual. :P
